Faulty Items

We pride ourselves on throughly ensuring our items are in a saleable condition prior to shipment. In the event we have missed something please do not hesitate to contact us. We kindly ask that you notify us of damages or faults, within 48 hours of receiving your order. Please do so via email at hello@bookalicious.co.uk sending clear images of the fault/damage, your order number and full name and address.

Once we have provided you with written confirmation to return your item and we are in possession of the damaged item, a replacement will be sent. In the event a replacement is not possible, a refund or alternative title will be offered. Please ensure you use the postal service outlined in your email from us. If you choose to return your item via an alternative method than advised, Bookalicious will only be liable to refund you the cost of delivery that is equal to that of our chosen/preferred stated method. You ‘the customer’ understand that this additional cost and apportionment will be at your own liability and expense

Under the Consumer Contract Regulation you have a right to cancel your order from the date you made payment to us and up to 14 days from receiving your order.

If you wish to exercise your rights to cancel you must inform us in writing to; Bookalicious, 10 Ironwell Close, Rochford, Essex, SS4 1PY, or via email to hello@bookalicious.co.uk.  Once we have received written confirmation of your cancellation, you will have 14 days to return the agreed item/items to us.

The item must be within the same unused and saleable condition it was sold. The customer will be responsible for any return shipping and packaging costs. The customer must ensure the items are suitably packaged and protected for return transit.

The customer will be responsible for the item and its condition during transit until received by Bookalicious. We ask that a proof of postage is obtained by you when choosing how to return your goods and that a suitable level of insurance is taken for the value of your items you are retuning. This will protect you, the customer, against any loss or damages incurred during transit and whilst under your liability and care.

Bookalicious will not be liable for any loss or damages to this item during transit and will only provide refunds for items that meet our ‘unused and saleable condition’ terms.

Any loss or damages to your items whilst in your liability and care, will need to be claimed under your postal insurance and will not fall under Bookalicious’s liability.
